'Chak De! India' inspiration facing domestic violence

Former India captain and Arjuna awardee Waikhom Surajlata Devi, who is a mother of two, has said in three police complaints that she had been suffering physical and mental abuse over dowry since getting married to Shantakumar in 2005. She led India to a historic Commonwealth Games gold in women's hockey at Manchester in 2002.
